Project A4 at the 7th Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications

Detmar Meurers, Ramon Ziai and Michael Hahn traveled to Montreal earlier this month the present research at the 7th Workshop on Innovative Use of NLP for Building Educational Applications, part of the 2012 Conference of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics: Human Language Technologies, which took place on June 7th.  Project A4 contributed two talks for the workshop:  

• Michael Hahn and Detmar Meurers presented a talk titled “Evaluating the Meaning of Answers to Reading Comprehension Question: A Semantics-Based Approach”
• Ramon Ziai, Niels Ott and Detmar Meurers contributed a  talk on “Short Answer Assessments: Establishing Links Between Research Strands.”
